Gabriel Zakaib is a documentary photographer and reporter studying Journalism at American University in Washington, D.C. He understands the world through adventure and powerful stories.

Zakaib has documented life in small-town Virginia, reported on rural religious communities, trekked the mountains of Montana and photographed national protests in front of the White House. He is interested in exploring cultures and communities at the heart of America.​​

Zakaib is published in The Rappahannock Record, The Eagle, and other publications. He has run his photography business shooting weddings, events and portraits since 2016 serving clients such as Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, the Emily Couric Leadership Forum and Cohen Veterans Bioscience.
