I am a reporter and photojournalist interested in the kind of storytelling that broadens worldviews and fosters empathy. My journalism has been published in The Rappahannock Record, The Eagle and Street Sense Media.

I am a senior journalism and psychology student at American University in Washington, where I will graduate in May. I'm from Charlottesville, Virginia.

In rural Virginia, I photographed agricultural communities and reported on thriving churches for The Rappahannock Record. In Washington, I photographed national political demonstrations and a presidential inauguration for The Eagle and reported on homelessness and poverty for Street Sense Media.

Additionally, I spent two summers working in Montana, where during free time I traversed remote mountain ridges photographing the last best place.
